Jay-Z will perform the Super Bowl halftime show on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium. The announcement was made by the rapper and his company, Roc Nation, which holds a partnership with the National Football League to produce the event. Roc Nation has managed the halftime production since 2019.

As a primary decision-maker for the lineup, Jay-Z chose to headline the performance himself. The specific date falls on the second Sunday of February, though the two teams playing in the championship game have not yet been determined. The finalists will be known at the end of January 2027.

The identity of any special guests remains undecided. While many headliners invite additional artists, Jay-Z has not yet announced a final list. However, several names have emerged based on past professional relationships and personal connections.

Beyoncé is frequently cited as a likely candidate. She and Jay-Z have been married since 2018 and share three children. Their musical history includes hits such as "Crazy in Love" and "Drunk in Love." They have toured together, and Beyoncé previously performed at the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars.

Rihanna is another prominent name linked to the event. Jay-Z, who was CEO of Def Jam Records when he signed her in 2005, helped launch her career. She later joined Roc Nation in 2010. The two collaborated on songs like "Umbrella" and "Run This Town." Rihanna recently appeared as a surprise guest at Jay-Z's concert at Yankee Stadium and headlined the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.

Their eldest daughter, Blu Ivy Carter, is also considered. She performed as a dancer during her mother's 2024 Christmas Day halftime show in Houston and on the Cowboy Carter tour. Blu Ivy has developed a dedicated fanbase and often attends NFL games with her father.

Eminem rounds out the list of potential guests. He recently joined Jay-Z on stage during his current tour. The two worked together on the track "Renegade" from Jay-Z's album The Blueprint. Eminem previously appeared as a special guest at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
